Recognition of Prior Learning
4 Steps to RPL

RPL recognises and acknowledges that you have gained skills, knowledge and experience through out your career path.  The recognition also includes qualifications that you obtained overseas and are recognised in Australia or, have gained through experiential learning such as volunteering, unpaid work experience.

RTO's give consideration to your experience, learnings and skills.  New Skills Academy assists you to create your portfolio of evidence which may have credit/s toward modules in your chosen course qualifications.  This is RPL.

New Skills Academy assists you with the steps to gaining RPL recognition from your experience and, in affiliation with selected RTO's, help you to gain recognised Australian Qualifications.

Subject to sufficient evidence being provided, you may qualify for credits towards a qualification.  This will reduce the time it takes to get a qualification.  In fact you may not need to study at all.
